The global leader in rubber steel cord, Xingda Steel Tyre Cord Co., Ltd inaugurated its technical service centre in Chennai, India. A scaled-down ceremony was held with a few participants for the opening of the new centre.

The company entered India early this century and has now become a key supplier in the market. Currently, Xingda is the largest steel tyre cord supplier in China and the second largest in the world. The company also provides solutions in other wire technology applications like bead wire, hose wire and galvanized wire.

“The opening of our India technical service centre marks a big step forward in our continued effort to provide better services to our customers in India and it shows our long-term commitment to the Indian market and our ambition of becoming a truly global company”, said the GM of Xingda.

According to its latest five-year plan, Xingda will continue to expand its global footprint and increase its production capacity to meet the growing demands from the global market.
