On November 2, it came out and publicized the list of candidate enterprises and projects for the 6th China Grand Awards for Industry, Commendation Award, and Nomination Award.

The “Demonstration Project of Green Radial Tire Intelligent & Innovative Industry” of Hefei Wanli Tire Co., Ltd. was selected as a candidate project of the Commendation Award of China Grand Awards for Industry, and Hefei Wanli became the only tire enterprise shortlisted this year.

The two million all-steel tire project of Hefei Wanli covers an area of 500 mu with a total investment of RMB 2 Billion Yuan. Combining the strategic requirements of “Made in China 2025”, the company is driven by innovation to actively explore the transformation and upgrading path of traditional manufacturing industry with innovation-driven, and to innovate the building concept of tire factory. During the development process, together with first-class equipment and software suppliers at home and abroad, it has jointly developed 17 new technology, new equipment and new processes which are initiated in China and even all around the world, and has collaboratively developed more than 600 advanced systems and equipment.
